“Passion for Peyote” Bracelet Class
- Cost $23.00
This is our January special class taught by
guest teacher Sandi Carr. This is easy to learn and the basic even
count Peyote stitch. It will open the door for many exciting
designs. We will make a four (4) row bracelet as seen above, but
other photos show samples of 6 & 8 rows also! Come early to pick out
your seed beads of 4mm Cubes (approx. 260 or 1.5 tubes) for the base
and 11/0 for the edge (approx. 150). NOTE: Students must
provide or buy their own seed beads, but needles and thread will be
provided.

Intro to the Art of Metal Jewelry

Metal is the hottest trend in jewelry making!!
Learn how to cut, stamp, hammer, punch holes and texture sheet metal to
make your very own uniquely designed jewelry. Materials, tools and
safety will also be discussed. We will make a pendant and a pair of
earrings with your own personal messages (ex: your kids names, etc..).

Freeform Wire
Wrapped Stone Pendant - Cost $12.00
OPEN to ages 8 & up
Ever found a rock on the side of the road that
was just so pretty you wanted to wear it? Well, now you can. In about
an hour's time, students will learn how to "cage" a rough stone with
wire and embellish. Students are welcome to use polished or unpolished
rocks. Class includes use of classroom tools and any wire needed to
make one pendant. Students will need to bring their own rock.

single strand necklace with a focal bead and learn to finish it using

Wire 101: Crazy About Pendants

Ever want to buy a pendant bead or centerpiece bead, but didn’t
know how to attach it to your necklace?? We’ll take the
mystery out of that dilemma by teaching you wire techniques for
attaching and/or creating a bail on four different types of
pendants each with holes drilled in different areas/angles [top to
bottom, tip drilled front to back, tip drilled side to side and a
donut pendant]. No previous wire instruction required!

Students will create two (2) beautiful wire
wrapped rings using a focal bead. They will learn to make
the ring base, correctly size the ring, add beads and then embellish

Beaded Chainmaille Bracelet

experience a 2000 year old art while learning basic chainmaille
weaving PLUS learn to add seedbeads to enhance this technique. Using wire rings

Kumi...What? Braiding - Bracelet
Cost -$32.00
In this class, students will learn how the kumihimo disk works and
how to do one braid pattern to complete a bracelet with colors and
fibers of their choosing. With this pattern one can do many
different styles of braiding, which we will discuss. We will also
discuss adding beads and other medias.
Price of class includes braiding disc, fibers and findings.
If you have your own braiding disc already, then class costs $22.00.
Please come a little early to pick out your fiber colors.

Wire 201 -
Wire Embellishing

This class
requires knowledge of the wrapped loop (or the briolette wrap -
which is taught in our Wire 101 class). We will be learning
how to expand our wire skills by embellishing beads & pendants
with various cool wire wrapping styles like the "Rosette",
"Twining Vines", "Caged Bead", the "Lightning Bolt" and "Coiled
Bead".
Complete kit included,
but you are welcome to bring your own beads if you prefer.
Knowledge of basic wrapped loop recommended.

Components

Wire Wrapping Class is here! Students will learn how to make a
beautiful wire wrapped pendant with a cabochon of their choice.
Students will also have the choice of silver, gold or copper wire to
wrap it in. We will also learn a few basic embellishing ideas to make
the pendant uniquely one-of-a-kind handcrafted. Students are
encouraged to bring their own cabochons or tools if they so choose,
but everything is provided.

In this class you will learn to crochet
with wire and beads to create a colorful bracelet. Go home &
use your new skills to make a matching necklace!! This

Memory Wire Colorfest Bracelet

OPEN to ages 10 & up
Jewelry making using memory wire is a basic and fun type of bead
stringing and can be used to make necklaces, bracelets, wine
bottle rings and much more. In this class students will create a
colorful seven row cuff bracelet and then learn to make a wire
swirled bar to finish each end.

Class Registration and Cancellation
- To sign up for a class you may register at the bead shop or call
us at 1-877-865-3009 or locally at 979-732-3220. Please give
us at least 24 hours notice to book a class and also call us if you
can't make the class and need to cancel. Classes
are offered for 1 to 6 students.
Class Supplies
- each class has different requirements; kits may be available for
purchase or supplies may be included. If your class requires you to
provide your own supplies you may bring beads from home or plan to
arrive 20-30 minutes early to shop for what you need. Students will
receive 15% off on all beading products purchased on the day they take
a class. Students may
use class tools if they don’t have their own.

regular classes.
Classes for younger kids are also offered, but check each description
for age requirements.

Kids Beading

| Children's Beading Parties
- bring your party group of children in so they can design and create
their own beaded necklace! Each child will choose their own colorful glass
beads and a centerpiece bead to create a necklace as unique as they are!
Party goers will then learn to lay out the beads & design the necklace on
a beading board. After stringing their necklaces, we will provide
assistance with the final crimping of the clasps. Everyone will leave
wearing their own creations! Limited to 6 children, ages 8 and up. $12.00
per person, all materials provided. |
Crystal Illusion Necklace
Students will learn to create a glitzy crystal necklace using
illusion wire and crimp beads. Complete kit included and kids can
choose from a variety of bead colors to each create their very own
one of a kind necklace.
